The Mount Rose (MD) Chapter is working diligently to provide innovative, transformative, and sustainable programming that will Model, Mentor and Motivate! the communities that we serve in Prince George’s County, Maryland and in Mount Rose Chapter’s adopted community of Liberia, West Africa.

The Chapter’s program is designed to:

MODEL best practices that promote community transformation throughout all of our programs offered locally and internationally. 

MENTOR youth of color in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and in reading literacy programs.

MOTIVATE the African American community on the following efforts: economic, political, and social challenges impacting the community; health literacy to increase the life expectancy of African Americans and people of African ancestry; and artistic literacy in the visual and performing arts by emerging and established artists of color.
